by Australian, Lance Hill in 1945. However, Lance Hill finally patented
his rotary clothes line on March 22, 1956.

and pinion winding mechanism which allows the frame to be raised and lowered.
It was developed and marketed by Lance Hill in 1945 after he returned from
the war.
