Answers:

  1. Q. Why is a certain inventor or invention not mentioned on your site?

  2. Q. Can you enter in a business partnership with me and invest in my invention?

    A. No, this site is educational. Check "Invention Funding" for ideas on how to raise money.

  3. Q. How can more than one inventor be claimed as the inventor of a certain invention?

    A. Easy, many inventions develop in stages and a different inventor could have been responsible for each stage. Cars, computers, and other inventions have scores of inventors attached to their original creation and further improvements.

  4. Q. Can you help me with my research?

    A. I am sorry but I cannot do extensive research for individuals. If it is already on my website, I will point you in the right direction. If I think it would be of interest to many readers, I will add it to my list of future projects.

  5. Q. What was your source of information? or How do I cite or credit this site in my paper?

    A. Use "According to Mary Bellis at http://inventors.about.com" for quotes. To cite an article use for example: Bellis, Mary "Cracker Jack" Retrieved May 1, 2003 from http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/blcrackerjacks.htm

  6. Q. What about the date you wrote an article?

    A. See the answer to question number 5, "retrieved from" means the date that you (the reader) first found the article on the Internet. Web pages unlike books are updated frequently and are not stamped with a publishing date.

  7. Q. Who wrote the articles? Who edited the articles? Who made the art?
